After raising the possibility of Ivan Perišić being sold to Manchester United this summer, La Gazzetta dello Sport has taken a closer look at Suning’s transfer market strategy. Here it is, broken down into four basic points:

  1. Finalise contract renewals for Danilo D’Ambrosio and Gary Medel, as well as complete deals to sign Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick and Atalanta defender Alessandro Bastoni.
  2. Boost the overall transfer budget by selling at least one player for their fixed asking price. Ivan Perišić is valued at €60 million, Marcelo Brozović will be allowed to leave for €25 million while Jeison Murillo would cost €20 million.
  3. In addition to the money raised via departures, Suning will spend at least €100 million on new signings. Zhang Jindong is determined to focus the club’s efforts on buying young Italian players.
  4. No player will earn more than €7 million per season, in order to maintain dressing room harmony.
