Spoke at the Christmas dinner with the sponsors and the team last night at the Hotel Melia was Steven Zhang – the son of the owner of Inter and Suning, Zhang Jindong, and a member of Inter’s board of directors:
“Thanks to all for coming here. It’s really a great honor for me to be here with you, to be part of Inter and this family. We always say that we are brothers of the world and I think that today we together represent all the people in the world that support and help Inter. I know that all of you are excited by seeing our players, but please, do not overdo it by giving them too much wine. There are still two games to play and we want to be sure to get to the strongest Christmas.”
He continued on to say: “Today is different, because Suning is one of the largest companies in the world and the largest media company in China. We have only one goal when we invest in Inter: make Inter the world’s best club. Thank you all for being here today.
