Icardi

Mauro Icardi is once again left out of the Argentinian national team, this time raising protests in Argentinian media due to the poor result their national team has posted in the qualifications for 2018 World Cup. Rumours from a Fox Sports broadcast now say it’s because of a veto from Lionel Messi, head-chief of the Messi Clan in the national team where Messi friend Maxi Lopez is one of the members.

Juan Sebastian Veron had the following to say about Mauro Icardi having only one game in the Seleccion: “It’s a shame because you need to take advantage of the good moments of a player and Icardi is clearly showing that he’s in a good period right now.”
