Marcelo Brozović will sign his new contract with Inter that includes a clause to move abroad to 50 million and a wage of 2.5 million per year plus bonuses.

His agent Miroslav Bicanic, spoke to Calciomercato.com providing clarity on some fundamental points: “Yes, he will have a new contract. He’s happy to stay, he knows the city and loves to play for Inter. The new contract will give him even more peace of mind, and he can focus on being better on the field. Now Marcelo is doing well in training with the national team; he is fit, calm and ready for the new season.

“De Boer? Marcelo respects the new coach, and will do his best to fulfill his ideas. They have only had little time to know each other, but I’m sure Mr. De Boer will use him well and get the best out of him.

The agent also commented on the many rumors about Juventus and Chelsea: “The interest of Juventus was real, but he has stayed at Inter. This also shows that Brozovic is on track to become a top player. Many clubs were interested in him, but that is now the past. He concentrates only on Inter now.

“Chelsea? The contract would have been higher but for Marcelo but money is not everything. He has a challenge with Inter in the Europa League, hopefully in the Champions League next year. He will do his best to achieve the goals.”
