Roberto Mancini talked to Mediaset Premium after the victory against Palermo:

“We played a great game in Turin as well and if it wasn’t for an injury, we maybe wouldn’t have lost. Then we played two good games and we hope that the win against Juve will lead to other wins. The third place? There are many games left and the table could change within two-three games, but it all depends on us. We have a very difficult game on Saturday and then we will go to Rome. if we continue on what we are doing now, we could have chances left. The errors on Palermo’s goal? All teams make mistakes in all games, and it’s understandable that some players were tired after the 120 minutes last Wednesday. We committed a mistake in the end of the first half and those are the things we need to improve, though we should’ve scored more in the first half.”

Mancini continued talking about Ljajic:

“He knows that I love how he plays, but at some times he isn’t training seriously. A player with his qualities should be making the difference in every game. He could be decisive in every game and he doesn’t have problems in running a lot. His concentration needs to be continous, in every minute of the training sessions as well. Our form? We had a black out with bad results and now we need to be great in taking back what we’ve lost. If Roma is decisive for the Champions League? I don’t know, there are ten games left and things could change withing 2-3 games. It will be an important game if we manage to beat Bologna, but that won’t be easy because Donadoni’s team is doing greatly. Perisic? He has started to know Italian football that is very different from English or German football. Perisic and Kondogbia are improving and they have great futures ahead of them. Perisic is a player who can score a lot of goals. Kondogbia has grown a lot, he needs to pay more attention but he will in a short matter of time.”
