In an interview in Romanian media, Denis Alibec confirms that he will join Bologna on loan as part of the deal that takes 17 year-old talent Alessandro Capello to Inter: “Honestly, I had expected to come to a more important club, but I still hope to do a good job. I’m sorry to be leaving my family and my friends. Bologna will be an important step in my career, a new challenge and I want to prove I can do it. Inter have made this decision, I wanted to play in the Champions League (with Steaua Bucharest red,) but it turned out like this. I thank Vitorul, the last season was like a rebirth for the future for me.”
In another interview his agent Giovanni Becali points out: “Had it been up to us, he would have played with Steaua, but Inter decided that Bologna would be better for him.”
