According to Premium Sport, the latest in Inter’s pursuit for Sampdoria youngster Patrik Schick as that the Nerazzurri still have a strong interest in the Czech striker.
Inter have already lodged a €25 million bid for the 21-year-old but the thoughts of Massimo Ferrero and other board members at the club is to let him grow slowly at the club.
The Nerazzurri are prepared to put in a counter offer, letting the striker stay at the Genoa club for another year but it’s thought Ferrero doesn’t want to see Schick leave the club and is believed to be trying to renew his contract. This would see his release clause rocket up to €40 million.
