Inter will need to add a central defender and a striker in the remainder of the mercato. With Jeison Murillo’s move to Valencia complete and Luciano Spalletti confirming Andrea Ranocchia will move on, Inter have just Miranda and Milan Skriniar as first team centre backs. Corriere della Sera bring an update on Inter’s mercato: Eliaquim Mangala is the number one objective for centre back and Technical Coordinator Walter Sabatini is working on loaning the Frenchman, currently playing for Manchester City, with the right to redemption.
Chelsea’s insistence on Antonio Candreva could well open up a deal that would see Patrik Schick join Inter. Spalletti ultimately does not want to give Candreva away however. Schick seemed set to arrive but a number of complications have came up, one of which being the Chinese government demanding Suning spend sparingly outside of China. Financial Fair Play is another complication in the deal.
On the outgoing front, Stevan Jovetic could join Valencia on loan having rejected Newcastle and Sevilla. Moreover, Gabigol is near to completing a year’s loan to Sporting Lisbon.
