Former InterHernan Crespo, spoke with Mediaset Premium about his time at Inter and transfer to the Nerazzurri:

“It was a strange thing. I was still at Lazio and in the evening we had to play against Juventus in the league: that morning Nesta told me that they sold him to AC Milan and the afternoon suddenly my agent called me and told me that they had given me to Inter. Nesta was very ill, and there was a friendly match scheduled between Milan and Inter. We lost that game against Juve. Bewildered, we went to the San Siro together and then everyone went to their own curva: at that time, football saw the financial difficulties of Lazio.”

Crespo then spoke about his time at Inter and his transfers:

“I was intimated by Inter’s top scorer Vieri and I had some doubts, because he is was first choice striker. Instead he opened the doors to me as a brother, he was happy because the team was reinforced.” Speaking more, the Argentine “confessed” to David Trezeguet who was interviewing him, about his transfer to Chelsea and his second adventure with the Nerazzurri:

“I moved to Chelsea to clear up my mind in order to prepare for the World Cup of 2006. It went well: we won the Premier, and the Community Shield. Then I returned to Inter where I lived a winning adventure: it was a wonderful experience to win these championships.”
