Gazzetta dello Sport have shined new light on Gabriel Barbosa’s arrival for 30 million euros last summer. Suning were by no means forced to purchase Gabigol, as he is otherwise known. Having purchase a number of Brazilian’s for their other club Jiangsu in Ramires, Jo and Alex Teixeira – and had success with them – Suning wished to apply the same model to their new club, Inter.
Gabigol’s time with Inter has not went anywhere close to as planned, with playing time kept to a bare minimum. Now it is Piero Ausilio and Walter Sabatini’s job to keep a hold of the Brazilian.
