Gazzetta – Conte still Inter’s preferred candidate

Despite reaffirming his desire to remain at Chelsea multiple times in the last week or two, Inter are continuing to work on bringing Antonio Conte on to the bench at the San Siro Gazzetta dello Sport detail. Conte, the former manager of the Italian national team, remains the preferred candidate for the Nerazzurri, even more so with Diego Simeone looking less and less likely.

The alternatives are Maurizio Sarri, who can join should he and Napoli part ways, Spurs Mauricio Pochettino, who Piero Ausilio has met with and Monaco’s Leonardo Jardim.
