After Manchester United progressed to the Europa League final last night, Sergio Romero spoke with Sky Sport on his future: “I do not think I will be in Italy next year. I am very happy at Manchester United. They make me feel important and I hope to stay for long time.”

The Argentine keeper, formerly of Sampdoria was touted as a possible back up to the Nerazzurri’s number one Samir Handanovic alongside Torino’s Daniele Padelli. Rumours in Italian media also suggested that Romero had in fact purchased a house in Milan.
