Gazzetta dello Sport detail that Chelsea manager Antonio Conte seeks assurances over certain aspects from Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich as talk regarding his future at Stamford Bridge remains rife. Conte is aware that is side is not at a level where they could directly compete for the Champions League title with only a trio of his current squad considered high level. When Conte and Abramovich next come face to face to discuss a renewal, the transfer market will be the main topic of conversation as the former Italian national team manager believes that his side needs a complete re-style.

Inter are ready to take advantage of the situation and it is said that Conte met with Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio to discuss the Nerazzurri’s project in London, just under three weeks ago. Conte is then said to have approved of Inter’s 5 year project that was proposed to him.
