Gabriele Oriali was back at Appiano Gentile today as he joined Italian national team manager Giampiero Ventura on his travels around clubs training grounds. Corriere dello Sport have labelled it a ‘dress rehearsal’ with rumours suggesting Oriali is to re-join the Nerazzurri in the summer. Oriali will assume the role of team manager, the same role he holds within the Azzurri set up. Danilo D’Ambrosio, Roberto Gagliardini, Eder and Antonio Candreva are all players that Oriali and Ventura will have taken particular note of with Italy having two games coming up in June. Inter will entertain Udinese in a friendly on the 7th of June as preparation for their 2018 World Cup qualifier four days later against minnows Lichtenstein.
