On the sidelines of the award ceremony of the prize “Fair play football and TV” Danilo D’Ambrosio spoke with Premium Sport to discuss current events Inter:
“We must get out of this rough period with daily work, with the will to win and fight. We know that on Sunday there will be a difficult environment, we know that they come from a delicate moment. Sixth place or not, we must think of winning all of the matches till the end, so the goal remains the Europa League.”
“The rumors about Pioli? They do not go with the decline of Inter, in part because the coach has trained us with maximum intensity, there was a psychological decline after the draw with Torino and failure to qualify to the Champions League.”
“If Pioli deserves to remain? For me it would be fair for him to remain here to the end.”
The Inter-back, then, speaks with Sky Sports, but the gist is the same:
“All those who make this Inter side must prove to be worthy of this club. I believe that the owners will make its assessments, I do not think that rumors have destabilized the team’s performance, I I train every day giving 100 per cent.”
