Ionut Radu has returned from his shoulder injury just recently and participated in the Primavera’s 2-1 win over Frosinone. The future of the Romanian is still uncertain, given that next season he will not be qualified to play with the U19 Primavera as he is turning 20. Inter are keen on keeping the 19 year old as backup for first choice keeper Samir Handanovic. The Slovenian is now 32 years of age, and it seems that Radu is seen as the Samir’s long term successor.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Radu has received two offers: One from locals Cagliari and the other from the newly promoted Newcastle United. Newcastle are searching for a talented keeper for the upcoming season as they will be promoted to the Premier League under former Inter manager Rafa Benitez.
