Depending on Atletico Madrid’s progress in the Champions League, Simeone could re-consider his future at Atleti and could leave this summer, a year before his contract expires. Moreover, he has close friend Javier Zanetti pushing him to join the Nerazzurri. A potential transfer ban for Ateltico Madrid could also spell the end of Simeone’s era with the Spanish outfit. Antonio Conte, Luciano Spalletti and Leonardo Jardim remain the alternatives.
