Former Atalanta midfielder, now of New York City FC, Maxi Moralez spoke to Argentine outlet La Nacion and explained his tweet that called for compatriorts Mauro Icardi and Papu Gomez to be called up to the national team: “It was a simple comment on two players who are making a difference in Italian football, I would like to see this type of players in the Selección. What they’ve done is enough to warrent giving them a chance and then conclusions can be drawn.”
