Daniele Portanova, who was one of Stefano Pioli‘s coaches while he was in charge at Bologna spoke on the current Inter boss: “Pioli was the most complete coach I’ve ever had. He knew perfectly do his work, preparing even the small details. He’s always positive, never breaks down, even in difficult times and that transfers on to his players so that they can regain confidence and enthusiasm after a defeat. At Bologna, there were so many hotheads and he was able to keep up with us. After a while however he gets too fond of players.”
