Roberto Mancini was interviewed by RomeNews.Eu ahead of the upcoming match between the Giallorossi and Inter at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday night.

“It will be an open match that can go either way as Roma are doing well but Inter have always perforemd well at home in direct encounters. Dzeko? We have worked together for many years. The first year in a new league is always difficult, then if that league is the Serie A it’s even more complicated, especially for strikers. However Dzeko has always scored goals and it’s only normal that he continiues to score.”

“With regards to the Scudetto I think Juventus are the favorites although you never know.”

In conclusion Mancini was asked to share hos thoughts on Leicester City’s decision to sack Claudio Ranieri to which he stated “unfortunately football is like this, if you win you’re the best and if you lose you always pay. At the end of the day Ranieri did something fantastic that will be remembered even in 2000 years from now and this is what is the most important thing.”
