Manolas: “We have to be careful against Inter, we must give our best there is no excuse”

Kostas Manolas had an interview with Roma’s official match day programme for Thursday night’s Europa League clash with Villarreal: “I thank the fans who have cheered me so much. Because they have always supported me and I promise I will always give my best for this team. Playing against Inter is always difficult. They’re a great team, they changed coach and are doing good results. I expect a tough game, but if we do our job we will win the game. They always win, only against Juve have they lost [under Pioli] and did not deserve to. They do not concede a lot of goals, they are compact: Inter is always Inter, we have to be careful. Who I fear most? I do not I fear no one, they have so many strong players, but we are Roma and we go to Milan to win. there is no excuse, when you play you have to give your best. We have a competitive squad, there is an alternative for each role.”
