Riccardo Ferri was full of praise for Gary Medel in an interview with Inter Channel: “Medel is adapting very well in defence, because he often plays there for the national team. I think that we also need more in midfield. Especially in Europe, the defence has to have physicality so I do not want the Medel playing then.”
He also spoke on what he thinks the vice-Icardi should be like: “A vice Icardi? We respect Palacio and Eder, but thinking of next year it will be a player with different characteristics.”
