Alessandro Florenzi is in a race against time to be fit for Roma’s trip to San Siro to face Inter on the 26th of this month.
He had been close to returning from a previous injury but suffered the misfortune of spraining his left knee in training – the same knee which was operated on a few months ago.
The Giallorossi midfielder has been ordered to rest for a couple of days, before seeing a specialist.
This latest setback has significantly reduced the chances of him being ready for the head-to-head clash 11 days from now.
