Inter are in negotiations with Beijing Bayi as part of a project geared towards improving coaches, players and training methods in China.

There are already three Nerazzurri academies in China, and the club are determined to continue expanding their brand in one of the world’s most lucrative markets.

The project is already active in Saudi Arabia, Japan and Brazil, and more opportunities could soon open up in South America.

Suning and Erick Thohir are supporters of the initiative which will see Italian coaches set an example to their Chinese counterparts, who will be educated using Inter’s facilities.

Once the negotiations are concluded, Inter will be one of the main allies of the Chinese government who are so determined to transform their nation into a footballing superpower.
