Antonio Candreva spoke with Mediaset Premium in an exclusive interview regarding the future of Inter and the match against Lazio in the TIM Cup:
The Italian Cup elimination? “It was a defeat, we wanted to go through. Now we have to forget it as soon as possible and think about the next match that will be very important.”
The match against Juventus is useful to grow? “It will definitely be a useful match in this sense. We must give continuity. We’re chasing the teams before they gain more points and we must continue so to achieve our goal which is to get into the Champions League. There is still a long way to go from the next match against Juve.”
A challenge from former clubs? “No, I do not feel as much a former because it’s been so long. I was young and I wore the shirt of Juventus for a few months, but it’s been a wonderful experience and that made me grow as a player and as a man.”
Who would you remove from Juventus? “I do not want to say a specific name, Juve is a very strong team, made up of great champions.”
First Italian purchased by Suning? “I always said that I’m proud to be here and I am proud to have been chosen by Suning as their primary objective. We are building a good group but we have to improve. Ben are Italians but we are a positive group that is doing well.”
Predictions for Juventus–Inter? “We will face a strong team, I do not make predictions, we will go to Turin to win.”
