Tomorrow the Court of Arbiration for Sport (CAS), will give closure to the Ricky Alvarez transfer fee saga in Lausanne, Switzerland reports the Sunderland Echo. Coincidentally, tomorrow is also a year and a half since the opening of the case which concerns Sunderland not paying Alvarez’ agreed 10.5 million fee to Inter if the black cats avoided relegation the season the Argentine was loaned. Sunderland remain adamant that they shouldn’t have to pay the fee due to Alvarez’s injury woes while in England. With that being said, despite their poor financial state, they do have the money set aside should the CAS rule in favour of Inter.
