Inter have reignited their interest in Domenico Criscito Corriere dello Sport underline. Inter had drawn links to the Italian defender currently with Zenit in the Summer but ultimately ended up not pursuing him, mainly down to Zenit’s 15 million euro asking price. The Russians had shown an interest in Stevan Jovetic and Jeison Murillo but neither player wanted an adventure in Russia. Criscito wants a return to Italy to give him more of a chance of an Italy recall under new boss Giampiero Ventura. Inter will make another attempt to land the 29-year-old and could exchange some players in the process. Felipe Melo or Jonathan Biabiany could go on a permanent basis while Gabigol could be loaned for 6 months. Otherwise, Inter will loan Criscito with an obligation to purchase attached. Matteo Darmian, Stephan Lichtsteiner and young Andrea Conti all remain as possible options too.
