Corriere dello Sport report that Inter want to “Italianise” themselves and bring in a number of Italian players in forthcoming mercato’s. This comes as a result of the appointment of Stefano Pioli. While Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian remains the top target, Inter will also attempt to sign one of Federico Bernardeschi and Domenico Berardi. Signing either of the attacking duo won’t be easy with widespread interest in each player. Fiorentina do not wish to sell Bernardeschi while Chelsea are keeping tabs on Berardi.
