Paolo Fontanesi, Icardi’s ghostwriter, clarify the vision of his client once again: “Those pages won’t be cut out. Mauro just want his thoughts to be understood.  In the book he wanted to mention that story to underline he was wrong with such attitude towards the supporter.

The ghostwriter of the book: ‘Sempre avanti – La mia storia segreta’, then adds: “Our source are saying that the book is performing very well in terms of sales, on Amazon, is among the best selling title in terms of sales and downloads”.

Fontanesi tells how it all started: “I’ve called Wanda in February, she agreed quickly. Then I’ve spoken to Mondadori, which accepted as well”. The book received many critics since Icardi is very young to have a story to tell: “His aim has been to tell his dream came true: as becoming the captain of a giant football team. In 20 years he will write a new one.

In the end the journalist gave his vision of Icardi: “He’s kid of a poor family, he’s not snob at all, but very friendly, even now that he is on top. A generous guy”.
