In the summer mercato, Inter failed in three separate assaults for full backs. Juventus refused Inter the sale of Stephan Lichtsteiner and the chances of them changing their mind in January is slim. Inter also made an attempt to get Domenico Criscito and Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian (on loan). Inter will continue in their hunt for a full back in the January mercato Corriere dello Sport underline and could make a move for Darmian again.
