There are many youth talents across Italy being linked with Inter and Brescia’s Leonardo Morosini is one of them. In an interview with Corriere dello Sport he revealed he was a fan of Inter amongst other things:
“I’m glad I stayed here because for me the Brescia is a second family, including the years in youth have been here for 8 seasons and I’m great. I’ve heard the rumours about Inter, but I never had any intention of leaving. cheering for Inter since I was a child, I played in the youth sector to the National Juniors and I made a ball boy at the San Siro by year Mancini up to that of the treble with Mourinho. as you can understand, I am very attached to the Nerazzurri colors. the most difficult emotion to forget was Inter-Sampdoria 3-2 [in 2005] with the comeback in the last six minutes with goals from Martins, Vieri and Chino Recoba. For a 9 year old boy it was something amazing to see their team go from 0-2 to 3-2. I could quote many other episodes because with the arrival of Mancini, Inter had returned to bringing satisfaction. I received the autographs of many players, in San Siro or the time I was on a visit to Pinetina. That year there was also Adriano, a force of nature. I’ve seen him play, it was a great Inter, who won trophies one after another, and amazing performances. I say that I was inspired Sneijder, a number 10 that decided the match with his play. But my idol has always been and remains Roberto Baggio, I also read his autobiography and it taught me a lot. Today there are not many playmakers left, I like Saponara for the continuity with which he plays the role in both phases. I can learn and when it comes to lend a hand to the team do not shoot back. There is not a player who does not have wishes to play in a great team and I am no exception, but now my dream is to go to Serie A with Brescia. I say quietly because first we have to think to about salvation and, when we have secured that, we’ll see where we can get. I’m happy here and I hope this is the year of my consecration after 8 goals last season, I can improve in so many ways. The Brescia executives are asking 2.5 million for my services? For sure it’s a substantial figure for a guy like me. If I was here, it means that no Serie A club believed in me enough to invest this sum. I will give my best for Brescia and demonstrate all my value. In January or July? We’ll see. The market is strange, but I am calm. I know I have just turned 20 and in front of me I have a long career. I have clear in my mind where I’m going. The National Under 21? I was summoned for the match against Albania, but I was not at my best with a strained hamstring and coach Di Biagio didn’t use me, I hope to have another opportunity. Appointment at the San Siro?
