Marcelo Brozovic was long tipped to be the most likely to depart Inter over the summer to balance the books. The mercato is now closed and the Croatian remains in Nerazzurri colours. An agreement over a new salary of 2.5m a season (originally 1.2m) has been reached by the parties and a meeting to close it will come next week.
