Corriere dello Sport report that Ramires won’t be leaving Jiangsu Suning, as the owners, who also own a majority stake in Inter don’t want to weaken their second side. The Brazilian midfielder, formerly of Chelsea, moved to China in January and since the Suning takeover, has been linked with a possible loan move to the Nerazzurri, despite it taking up a non-EU slot which Inter appear to want to keep for compatriot Gabigol instead. Ramires’ “snub” is the second in as many days as Wolfsburg’ Klaus Allofs admitted that Luiz Gustavo would be remaining with the Bundesliga club.

Inter’s hunt for a central midfielder continues and with just a week in the mercato remaining, they may want to speed up if they do not wish to be disappointed.
