Inter defender Cristian Ansaldi will have a scan on an injury picked up in training hours before his official unveiling as a Nerazzurri player.

However, he does not believe it to be serious, and discussed his move to Milano.

“Tomorrow I’ll have a scan, but I don’t think it’s serious,” Ansaldi began the conference by saying.

“Inter has always been a club I liked, especially because of all the Argentines who have been here. I was pleased to get the call from Auslio and Zanetti, that was reason enough to come here.

“I can play on the right or on the left, because I’m good with both feet. Then we’ll see what the Coach  wants to show me, I’ll always do my best.”

Ansaldi’s also believes that Inter captain Mauro Icardi will stay at the club.

“I think he’s clear in his mind that he wants to stay. This club means a lot to him, he’s young and he still has to learn but he knows the responsibility that is implicit in the role of captain.

“He’ll definitely stay here.”

The full-back went on to discuss Frank de Boer, who took the helm in place of Roberto Mancini.

“Our game will change a lot with him,” he stated.

“He likes to play on the counter-attack and then recover. Maybe the club needed a change to see results. We hope De Boer and the rest of the group will understand each other well.

“Sometimes it’s not a question of the budget or big names. In our mind we have the Inter which was always fighting for the League and the Champions League and we’ll do the same.”
