As Inter‘s tour of the US nears its conclusion, Erick Thohir spoke to Inter Channel: “This was our third day of meetings. On the first day we talked about the sports side of things, on the second day, we spoke finances and on the third day we discussed marketing, sponsorship and other aspects.” He carried on, “We are pleased that, our fan base has increased to 311 million. Today it becomes important to understand how we can get closer to them. How can we give them what they expect? what services and content?, We can do this through our digital strategy.”

“At the same time, the management is happy that our revenues have increased from 164 million to 186 million, coming near 200 million as I projected about three years ago. We feel we need to work hard and with confidence to achieve this result.”

“We could verify, through the latest studies, that we are part of the top 10 world football brands and in China and we are in the top 4, we are happy with the result of this research. These are important steps, which push us to work even harder. It’s definitely been a good week.”
