Alessandro Sugoni of Sky Sport 24 commented on the mercato situation surrounding Inter striker Mauro Icardi.
“For Inter Icardi is not for sale, for Napoli he is the priority” the journalist commented.
“Timing? The agent of Gabbiadini said that if Napoli will not take other top strikers, the player will remain. Next week, Napoli will meet the agent again, and then you can tell if someone is joining Napoli (Icardi) and the player in such a case would go away, but if Gabbiadini remain would mean that Napoli did not take any players and pair of attack could be made right by Gabbiadini and Milik.
“Inter, however, is also prepared to change the Argentine’s contract, but not now, maybe after the market closes and with the money of Suning.”
