Brazilian defender Joao Miranda was interviewed by Inter.it regarding a wide variety of subjects ranging from the turbulence that has been following the club recently to the Copa America and the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

“I only concentrate on footballing matters and nothing else. Our coach is Roberto Mancini and we’re working with him, we will work together and we will look to fulfill our goals and objectives which is to qualify for the Champions League, and we have to do our best to achieve this goal.”

Miranda was then asked about how he finds life with the Nerazzurri stating that “I want to win with Inter, I am happy here, I respect my contract. I think winning the league will be difficult, not impossible but difficult, we will battle for it and try to win it. When you have only one chance you have to fight. The Olympics? I’m happy here, I have to always keep on working more. Brazilian national team? The Copa America was diappointing but this is football, now there are some changes and we will have to do better. For me the captains armband is a symbol, I will be a leader on and off the pitch.”
