Inter remain intent on keeping star striker and captain Mauro Icardi, and are seeking an offer of at least €60 before considering a sale. Napoli meanwhile are on the hunt for Gonzalo Higuaín‘s replacement and appear to have made alternative plans should their attempts to lure Icardi prove fruitless.

Ajax forward Arkadiusz Milik is also on the Vesuviani’s radar, and any deal for the Polish international would be a much less costly operation. After seeing their initial approach rejected, De Laurentiis’ club are set to make an improved offer of 20m.

Napoli’s priority is Mauro Icardi, but are ready to move for other targets if Inter continue to price the 23-year-old Rosario native out of a move.
