Milly Moratti, wife to Massimo has given her opinion on the Suning-Inter situation to Il Giornale: “No decision has been taken yet. Before speaking of his shares in Inter, my husband is waiting for something definite. He feels responsibly towards the team and the Inter supporters. There are no personal issues between my husband and current Inter chairman Thohir. Everyone has his own way how to manage the same. Inter however are a special team, with special supporters, very much territorial in its being. This is what ET didn’t understand. It is like he wasted a chance.  If Suning ask my husband to be the link between China and Milano he would be honoured. He would take into consideration how he can be useful. His respect for national territory and values are very close to his heart. We have had a brief meeting with these people, at our house and they left a very good impression, especially Zhan Jindong’s son who seemed very interested in Milano’s economy and the enormous potential of the city.”

Milly then spoke of what the future could hold for the family synonymously known with Inter: “The Moratti family has put itself at their disposal supported by the fact that since Massimo sold the majority of his shares offered their help proposing various ideas. Yes, there are projects in our minds. Nothing yet though, but changes must not scare us. Changes are opportunities.”
