There will be competition between the Milanese clubs for Genoa star  Leonardo Pavoletti in the summer. This was reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, who also report that there is increasing interest from the nerazzurri, after the rossoneri had already started considering the player as  replacement for the departing Luiz Adriano (who then remained in Milan).

“The swing of the relationship between Roberto Mancini and Mauro Icardi, as you know, affects the plans of Inter. This is why Inter have made an enquiry into the Genoa player. And so ahead of the summer the club is preparing to compete with the cousins for the signature. Nothing is easier as this could create another frenzied auction, just like that of last July for Kondogbia and Imbula”, reads the newspaper.

In the running, as well as Inter and Milan, there is also Fiorentina, because it is not safe to say that Kalinic will remain in viola after an excellent season. “It is hard to find a player of his quality. And with an Italian passport. This aspect significantly affects the market dynamics – confirms Gazzetta dello Sport -. This is the reason why Leonardo will be observed in the next couple of months, from all points of view. Gasperini will hold on dearly to the player, because his goals are fundamental to give serenity to the environment. There will be time to define the player’s future”.
