After the 1-0 defeat to PSG Davide Santon spoke to FcInterNews in the mixed zone and spoke about wanting to stay at the club amongst other items.

“I think it was a great match against a great team. Sure, the rhythm and tempo wasn’t very high but I think that’s normal after a week’s break. We’re back to training, we’ve worked very intensely in order to be ready for tonight. More than being a real match I think it was an important training ahead of things to come, but still very nice. The French team had their chances but so had we.”

“Thohir? He told us that he was satisfied but we’re only half way through the season. We still have many matches to play, but this was an important test for the continuation of the league. The transfer window? I’m at Inter and I want to remain here. The rumours are there, but I don’t listen to anything. I repeat, I want to stay here.”

In conclusion Santon was asked what he wants for his birthday which is only a few days away: “In two days time it’s my birthday, so I’d like some satisfying things at the end of the season. Champions League qualification and maybe the dream of winning the Scudetto.”
