Gazzetta dello Sport names Samir Handanovic as the best goalkeeper in Europe. The newspaper writes:
“Everyone is free to believe what they want, but Handanovic being the best keeper in Europe is according to the statistics from Opta. Amongst the keepers who have played at least five games in Bundesliga, Premier League, Serie A, La Liga and Ligue 1, no goalkeeper has 85.25 % saves. Samir has made 53 saves in 15 games and in 10 out of 15 games Handanovic has kept a clean sheet. Handanovic is expected to renew his contract soon and is getting the help he has needed from his teammates to show his true strength.”
