Inter pulled off a 1-0 win away at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara after Mauro Icardi scored his 3rd goal of the season. The match was surprisingly close, especially when Felipe Melo was sent off after 2 yello cards in the 60th minute but Inter managed to not only score but also win.

Samir Handanovic – 6,5: Had absolutely nothing to do for 92 mins but when it mattered the most he pulled off a fantastic save for his team. World class.

Davide Santon – 6: Reliable in defense & very useful when going forward. Helped Perisic & Ljajic down the right-flank constantly & delivered decent balls.

Joao Miranda – 6,5: There’s no doubt about why Inter’s defense is so solid this season. It’s thanks to the Brazilian whose performances improve by the day.

Andrea Ranocchia – 5,5: Got a surprise call to the startin 11 & did ok, especially in the 2nd half. Will be remembered for being completely humiliated by Ferrari.

Juan Jesus – 6: Solid as ever defensively & tried to help out in the attacking phase but as Inter bombarded down the right there wasn’t much to do.

Felipe Melo – 5,5: Generally not as good as we’ve grown accustomed to as he lost the ball easily many times. Very harshly sent off after 2 yellow cards.

Marcelo Brozovic – 6: Poor 1st half followed by a great 2nd half where his passing, timing & movement was very good despite being played out of position.

Geoffrey Kondogbia – 5,5: Another mediocre performance by Inter’s high profile signing. Did better than in previous matches but makes too many mistakes.

Ivan Perisic – 6: His crossing throughout the match was awful & he missed an absolute sitter in the 1st half. But never gave up & worked his socks off.

Adem Ljajic – 6,5: Good performance by the Serbian winger & got an assist after he unselfishly passed Icardi who was in a better position.

Mauro Icardi – 6,5: Frustrated by the poor delivery especially in the 1st half. Picked himself & his game up to show glimpses of what he can do in the 2nd.

Fredy Guarin – 6: Came on in the 74th minute for Perisic & showed great character & fighting spirit to win the ball & counter attack.

Jonathan Biabiany – : Was brought on in the 82nd minute for Icardi & didn’t play long enough to be rated. However, his speed is very useful in these matches.

Rodrigo Palacio – : Substituted on for Ljajic in the 88th minute & didn’t play long enough to be rated.

Roberto Mancini – 6: Got the tactics right tonight & his gamble with Ranocchia turned out ok. Was sent to the stands towards the end of the match unfairly.

Inter – 6: Impressive to pull off a win after almost playing 30 minutes with 10 men. Looking more & more like a solid team that’s difficult to beat.

Luca Banti – 4,5: This is one of those referee’s who really doesn’t give Inter any breaks. Melo’s 2nd booking was very harsh & uncalled for.
