Former national team coach Cesare Maldini spoke on Adnkronos about the derby on Sunday evening: “The derby? Milan have some problems related to injuries. Up front, however, they have a good attack. I like the pair Bacca-Luiz Adriano, to win, however, you need to play a perfect match in attack, in defense and also in midfield.”

“The derby is a match in which you have to sweat and give your best. It’s a bit early for Inter-Milan, I can’t remember a derby being played so early (2009/10 it was also played in the third round ed.). It’s hard to make judgments after two games, Milan has signed some good young players, but we all know how often they have ups and downs. In attack, both teams have players who can cause damage with some input from midfield.”

“Inter have made some good purchases, has changed a lot by investing, even though this doesn’t always go hand in hand with the results. It can happen that a player doesn’t fit, it takes time. A favorite? With the heart of course I say Milan, but then I look at the signings and investments made by Inter… Who knows.”
