The goal he scored in the resounding defeat of Sampdoria in Turin in the third qualifying round of the Europa League has reportedly revived interest from Inter for the young midfielder Mirko Ivanic of Vojvodina, for whom Inter’s interest was confirmed by the player’s agent Ljubomir Vorkapic a few weeks ago.

In Serbian Novi Sad, however, Vojvodina’s sporting director Ljubisa Dundjerski halts all negotiations on the transfer market, in and out, just to allow his men to concentrate on the Europa League.

Here are the words of the former Atalanta player: “We suspend all negotiations related to our players and possible departures in Serbia or abroad. The stop will continue as long as our team remains engaged in the Europa League qualifiers, to allow our players to focus on the next commitments. We therefore call on all media to suspend the talks with our players regarding market.” Words which, however, according to local media, imply the strong interest of Inter as the Red Star.
