In pole position to wear the winger shirt in the attack of Inter is Croatian international Ivan Perisic.

The deal however is not simple because of the will of the leadership at German club Wolfsburg to keep the 26 year old.

The player’s agent, Tonci Martic has been speaking in an interview with our partners at FcInterNews and has said the following:

Mr Martic, what is the situation at this time?

“The hope is that we can close quickly. As I said, Inter are a welcome destination for Ivan and I can say that I would love to see him with the Nerazzurri shirt. Now it’s up to Inter and Wolfsburg to negotiate the deal, although Wolfsburg don’t seem so willing to give up the boy.”

Regardless of the formula, 15 to 16M Euro may be enough?

“I do not know, you would have to ask the club. This is the obstacle to overcome.”

Aside from Inter, what other teams are interested?

“I can’t reveal the names of the clubs, but there are many. There is much interest in Ivan from various Championships, but one thing I can say…”

And what is that?

“Inter wants the player and he would come to Italy only to play for Inter.”

Possible arrival of Perisic as early as this weekend at Brunico?

“I don’t know, it would be nice. I hope so but I can’t express myself this way.”
