Piero Ausilio stopped to talk in the mixed zone after the draw and he just like Mancini was upset.
“Meanwhile I don’t like to be here just when things go bad, but I would like to be here celebrating a win as well. Regarding tomorrow it seemed right to us that they should work seeing as how they all rested today. This way they can start preparing for the game next Sunday starting tomorrow. The points say that Mancini is not doing well but we are creating something for the future. The risk was there because the team has always played the 3-5-2 and it was assembled to fit that scheme. Mancini is a different kind of coach, we thought that we would be able to collect points from the get go but we are building something important that will need patience but I understand the fans. But we all believe in it, the directors, the coach and we are evaluating everybody from now until the end and we decide which will be worthy of Mancini’s Inter, which will be the next one.”
Ausilio then continues: “I don’t know why we played so badly today, if we did know maybe we would have made other choices, we were taken by surprise. The game against Samp showed a different Inter and we complimented the players even though they lost. Today was a different matter and seeing how when you do good you receive compliments it is only fair to admit when you play badly. The squad won’t consist of 30 players there will be players going in and others going out. We need a homogenous and balanced squad. We will try to do a good job and something good will have to come out of it.”
