Di Marzio: “Samuel Eto’o close to Sampdoria”

Former Inter striker Samuel Eto’o is close to making a comeback in the Serie A.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that late last night the Everton striker rejected an offer of € 5 million to be paid over two seasons from the Brazilian outfit Santos as he only wants to come back to Italy, this time playing for Sampdoria.

The parties continue to speak over the phone and seem to be getting closer and closer by the minute as the Serie A prepares to welcome the legendary Cameroonian striker back.
