The friendly between Inter and Paris Saint-Germain on December 30th is coming closer and the French club’s defender Maxwell is looking forward to meeting the team he played for from 2006 to 2009. The Brazilian arrived to Inter during Roberto Mancini’s first stint with Inter and this match will be an opportunity for him to meet the coach who launched him in Serie A and for which he won his first two Scudetti and Super Cup in Italy. In an Interview with Maghreb Arab Presse the former Inter player put his feelings aside and focused on the importance of the game for when the league resumes: “The game will help PSG find the rhythm in its game during the winter break.” Then, Maxwell reflected on the moment Inter is currently going through: “Although they are going through a negative period in the league, Inter remains a great team consisting of great players.”
