Bergomi

Former Inter captain Giuseppe Bergomi has covered a range of topics regarding Inter in his latest column for Gazzetta dello Sport. He talks about the need to recover Palacio, the pressure Inter are under and most interestingly the difference between Mazzarri and Mihajlovic. Regarding Inter’s problems in defence Bergomi believes Hugo Campagnaro is the best fit for a right sided centre back role. According to him Ranocchia reads the game better from a central area and this would allow rotation for Vidic who can’t be expected to play every 3 days. Meanwhile on Mazzarri and Mihajlovic, communication is the main difference in Bergomi’s opinion. With Mihajlovic there is slogans and quotes used to communicate with fans and players but this isn’t Mazzarri’s style. One similarity is their self belief in tactics, Mazzarri with the 3-5-2 and Mihajlovic a 4-3-3.
